So after the RM blues comes the readjustment blues, my first attempt went as followed:
Kim Coleman and I had talked during the flight home regarding Paige's wedding, nothing was set besides our dreams and hopes on going. Earlier on the week she text me wanting to go and with that being said sister Miehe moved to chilliwack like and also wanted to come so we agree on leaving Thursday night.
We did indeed leave Thursday night they picked me up just after 10pm and we headed to Edmonton, now we took the longer way so it took us forever, nevertheless it was fun, we hitter Edmonton just after 10am on Friday, planning on attending the temple we had to rethink the situation, Coleman and Miehe had a nap and catch up with a friend, quickly more people showed up and we started getting ready.
When I arrived to my mission Paige Pizzey was my STL and Richard Clark was the assistant today they were getting seal for all time and eternity, we reunited with a lot of former missionaries from the Canada Halifax Mission as we all were awaiting for the couple to come out, she looked stunning and they both seem so in love it was just adorable.
After that we went to the mall had lunch and proceed it to the temple, now I was a bit gloomy the Edmonton temple looks a lot like the one Halifax. I love the temple and I had to come to terms with certain question. We head to the reception and woow more missionaries, I can't explain how nice its to see so many missionaries.
Now I'm foreign I didn't know the mall had an amusement park and lucky me the ysa had an activity today, the had rent the place! And I got to go. I got meet tons of people, reunite with old friends and break the awkwardness... Leave it to former elders you got to serve with, it gets interesting but super fun.
My night was long and we continued to hang out until almost 2am and then my sweet Attena and I chatted for a bit, it good to have friends that can help you transition.
Saturday came around and we went to U of A for a soccer game of the Keeler brothers and then we hit IKEA for breakfast and silly pictures, after so much fun it was time to head to Airdrie for another reception. Surprise more missionaries from the CHM and of course some of their parents, the reception was awesome and fun. Since we have been traveling so much we decided to hang out now here is when we almost die of laughter, we had 3 of the former APs with 5 girls having a Q/A regarding dating, here is when you know your mission friends are awesome. What a night
Now sunday wasnt the exception today we went to Calgary as Kirstina had her home coming talk at 9am and all the CHM present at the time sang "brightly beams our fathers mercy" was a memory and the spirit there, she rocked her talk and promptly we had to run to the Brentwood ysa ward as Marc had to give a talk at 11am, once again said hi to people we knew and run to the Turner's home for lunch and run to the Tuscany ward to listen to my former companion Jessica give her homecoming talk! All this time a group of 10 or so had been church hopping to support our fellow friends.
After that the Comfort's invited us food and we chatted. It's so so weird to meeting the families of my companions after hearing so many stories and seen their pictures for days and days.
After all of this we were exhausted and decided that is was wise to stay the night and travel in the morning. Bishop Turner made us cookies and watch the RM with us and men we had so much fun. After that we had a little session of scripture study with the family and hang out with the girls, I had to crash early but apprentice they made cookies!!
By now it's Monday bishop Turner made us this super awesome breakfast before we left and once again we had to hit the road back to British Columbia, by this point I feel a lot more clear on what it is that my father in heaven wants me to do and very grateful for the friendships I have made.
