Week 69

Hello everyone

Im so sorry for the last few emails, things when crazy after transfers, but since then a crazy amounts of things have arise, somehow I been blessed with a great mission president that doesn't take no for an answer, I went from not applying to BYU to continuing with my application within days of getting into Truro, I was dead serious regarding my ACT scores that I wont be able to apply, then I had to get a TOEFL that was schedule for Jan 29 and BYU deadlines were feb 1, so to me it seem impossible, but when is Heavenly Father will things are possible, apparently BYU-I is considering my application since I'm from Colombia, the minimum ACT score for acceptance is 16 (I got 16!!!) and my English exam well, after my mission president talk to them and I called BYU regarding the short time I had and the fact that Im on my mission still, a miracle happened
1. the WAIVED my test
2. they will work with me on the deadline
3. I just have to wait for them to received my transcripts!!!

Like I said I don't know how I got so lucky, but I'm very grateful. and also thankful for the Help of my mission president and his wife with my application.

On other news, I will be flying home on Friday, March 13 2015 into the Kamloops airport I have no other details but I'm sure YOU will find out sooner than me, anyway I look forward to meeting seeing you there.

The storms are getting bad and it gets really cold here, is very icy but we are doing well, I should be getting my YW medallion this sunday. which is pretty ironic I actually started on Feb 9 2014 on my sister birthday. we are currently helping the primary with music time, YW with activities and personal progress and Relief society with visiting teaching. they joke is that I'm getting good practice for when I get home.

On thursday we were privileged to attend the temple with the departing missionaries, and what a lovely experience that was, I have work along to some of the missionaries that were going home and I cant describe the feeling, the look on their eyes. the change in their lives.

Since it was transfer I received several letter and Christmas gifts from the St. Stephen, NB apartment Thank you so so much!!!! I loved them

Time is going really fast but I have been able to reflect on the past 2 year of my life and see how I have change and what my goals are now and all I could think is Im glad I was able to have a conversion that matches my testimony and now I can stand on higher ground, with a stronger foundation.

Well I better Say farewell for today but Thank you for the support you have been during my mission, I'm grateful for the many blessing I have received.

May the Lord be with you this week.

Love

Sister Jungheim
