I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, My week is been a little bit weird, perhaps because its out of my routine,I have learned the importance of Home teachers and Visiting teachers and the roll they play. I had the chance to met with a less active member which was looking for a blessing but sadly she didn't have home teachers.
We promised to strength one to another and to serve others, sometimes a quick hello could make such a big difference.

On Christmas Eve we spend our evening with the Evans, their daughter just arrived in the Vancouver mission and I'm not sure where is she serving yet. but it pretty exciting to spend time with her family. on Christmas day my companion and the elders had the privilege to visit with this wonder family from Utah, who opened their home to us and told us about their families and kindly allowed us to use their computers so we could contact our parents.

What a great experience I believe my parents were happy to see me and to find out for themselves that I'm ok hahahah
I got t watch a movie too, so spoiled, I didn't realize how big my siblings had grown in 12 weeks but I got to see them and hear from them, It was a marvelous thing being able to show my parents my stuff and my scriptures and tell them about my plans.

Now last week I mention I had challenged myself to read all D&C, New testament and our heritage. Well early last week the mission president challenge us to read the whole Book of Mormon in the month of January!!!! we dont know how we are supposed to read 28 pages a day but I guess we will be waking up earlier than usual and using our meal times. around the same time, my dear companion became ill and she rested and took some of our nasty medicine (she looks much better now) but during that time I was able to complete reading some parts of D&C and the whole book of "our heritage" Wooow I feel like I learned a lot!!!

Well the highlight of the week was our Christmas dinner, We had a 5 course dinner (3 meal and 2 desserts) it took about 2 hours to completed but it was hillarious, we truly appreciated Bro. Lambert's kindness and hard work.

The weather still the same, apparently this is the most snow they had in a few years, boxing day was the slowest day and we learned that in NS nobody works on dec 26.

Well I had a wonderfull week, I even found a Colombian store near downtown area, how exciting!!!!!

Im excited to see pictures of the new babies, and I know there are some that will be born soon, but I cant wait to meet them all.

I love you all, take care and smile!!!!
