...September just busier busier and busier and before I knew it September is gone and October was already here!
Well I had the privilege to attend my beautiful Vancouver temple, I had the most amazing company and the rock because they were kind enough to sit thru a Spanish session when they had no clue of what was being said!
I had the chance to attend my church grandma wedding reception!she is the sweetest lady and my family have adopted her as our grandma. She got remarried after being looking for long 21 years. Her smile can say more my thousand words.
That weekend was pretty eventful, I even had my open house and got to visit with awesome people who were there to give me their best advice and love. I love them all and all the help from my best friend.
Monday came along and my poor body was just exhausted but lucky for me I had the chance to drive to Kelowna an helped my dearest friend in his plan to suprise his girlfriend, 90 balloons and 4 bags of chocolate sounds like an awesome surprise to me, due to the circumstances I stay with my favourite
Well can you guess what I did Tuesday ? Yes I had my citizenship test and after much waiting I passed know due to my mission I thought I would have to wait forever more but the ladies at immigration were kind enough to make me a special case and let me take the oath Thursday of that same week, I'm true Canadian now, without a passport but it's true.
My week(s) was very chaotic, never thought repacking my life will be this hard but I'm excited for the adventures I'm about to live.
After several days of driving I got accomplish what I need it and now I can enjoy my last lesson, saying goodbye to those in my ward and being release from my class took more energy than I ever imagine, I have never left my chapel, that was my chapel even before I was a member so I have so love to it that I can't explain.
The week before I left for Utah wasn't as eventful, usual routine besides getting hit on the face with a soccer ball at FHE, tons of packing left to do, yeah not much.
Finally the day came and my poor mother had to say farewell on her bday, the sadness in her eyes was more than I can handle and yet we both know this is the right thing to do.
With much time I said my goodbyes to my parents, friends and the city that I called home for the passed 5 years and 8 months, and off I was to Utah.
After much time I landed in Salt Lake City and the Furr's were ready for me, I have to admit I had learned more about canning this passed weekend than I ever had before, it's amazing! The house smells like pears no matter where you are.
I had my adventures thru the days to start I took the train to Salt Lake City for the afternoon session and after giving some tickets away and running two blocks I got lucky and made it by 2:03, after conference I walked ear temple grounds and went to the book store and bought the last few items I need it. (Side note don't you ever go shopping during women's night!!!!!!) by the time I was done shopping I was exhausted so I head back and tried my luck riding the train back and hey I made it.
Now for the Sunday session I got very very very lucky, I had the chance to go with some of the local Ysa and they were amazing. We had nice seats and we had enough time to sit back , enjoy and relax. After all "music the word spoken" was rehearsing. I finished the afternoon session with Furr's.
Later on we had a waffle night and for someone like me this was foreign but lucky enough sister Furr is amazing at everything and I couldn't stop eating lol
I met some of my new cousins and visit with those I have known for awhile, now picture this my 3 cousins with their spouse and kids were a total of 11(and we missed 6) and the Furr's and I were 16 hahahaha that's a lot of people.
Monday I had the pleasure to go missionary shopping, lovely Marissa took around and also to BYU do I could ask for my question and get answer in what path should I take. I made dinner for the family on Monday night, traditional Colombian food and guess what they liked it :)
FHE was great and the pear canning was super fun. Now grape picking not as fun, even grandma agreed with me!
I enjoyed Utah as much as I could but always with the heavy heart of living my mom.
